Yamaichi sockets (Production/Prototyping) (PSOP/PLCC)

Yamaichi's sockets are manufactured from proven high-temperature thermoplastic suited for IR or vapor -phase processes. The sockets feature low-resistance contacts, furnish a gas-tight fit to prevent corrosion, afford high-retention of components and provide for vacuum pickup. Surface mount sockets are manufactured in a variety of terminal styles and lengths to accommodate different applications. To keep board space to a minimum, surface mount socket footprints match Intel's Flash memory footprints.
Yamaichi's low profile, small form-factor, low insertion force sockets are ideally suited for OEM handling and assembly. As an option, PLCC sockets are available in through-hole technology All sockets can be ordered with or without locator pins. The socket architectures allow simple insertion and extraction of Intel's Flash memory components.
