Intel CPU Identification Utility for Windows* (multilanguage)[CPUID.EXE]
April 1998: The Intel CPUID Utility for Windows* is
designed to identify the Intel microprocessor contained
in your PC. It is intended for use on systems which are
running Windows 95 or Windows NT*. This utility will
also tell you if your Pentium(R) processor has the
floating point divide flaw. This multi-language version
supports English, French, German, Italian, Portugese, and
Spanish languages. If you are downloading CPUID Utility

it from a diskette and need help, please click here.
Note: If you do not have Windows 95 or Windows NT
installed on your system, download the CPUID Utility for
DOS*(English Only) to identify the Intel microprocessor
in your PC.

Downloading from Intel's Website

- Download CPUID.EXE file
to an empty, temporary directory.
- Go to Windows Explorer
or File Manager.
- Locate and double-click
on CPUID.EXE to expand the file.
- Respond Y to following
system query: Continue file extraction?
- Double-click on
CPUIDW.EXE file to execute utility.
- Read and agree to the
Intel Software License Agreement.
- The utility will run
and provide details about your Intel
microprocessor.
- Exit the utility and
Windows Explorer or File Manager.

- Make sure the CPUID
Utility for Windows diskette is in Drive A
and is not write protected.
- Go to Windows Explorer
or File Manager.
- Click on A drive icon

- Locate CPUIDW.EXE file.
- Double-click on
CPUIDW.EXE file to execute utility.
- Read and agree to the
Intel Software License Agreement.
- The utility will run
and provide details about your Intel
microprocessor.
- Exit the utility and
Windows Explorer or File Manager.
