The Intel 971 PC Camera Kit includes a comprehensive reference design that offers OEMs a comprehensive, quick time-to-market solution for the next generation of simple, easy to use and affordable PC cameras.

The Intel 971 PC Camera takes advantage of Intel's CMOS Image Sensor and PC camera image processing. Also included is the Intel PC camera utility manager software, design documentation and a set of suggested manufacturing procedures.

Working with an Intel-licensed manufacturer, a PC Camera can be added to your product line

High-volume manufacturers (HVMs) plan to offer PC cameras based on the 971 PC Camera Kit. Those being, but not limited to, Lite-On Technology Corp. and Samsung Aerospace Industries, Ltd. HVMs can provide private label and/or branded PC cameras based upon the Intel 971 PC Camera Kit to the OEM, retailer and reseller channel.
