Since 1980 pd Computer provides turn key solutions in the areas of data acquisition, processing and storage, identification, communication, and documentation. All design phases are supported: from first draft via prototype to series production including training, installation and repair.
PIC16/17 projects comprise an ecg holter monitoring hard disk recorder and ASSP products called 'Smart ASICs,' like high speed barcode decoders, fieldbus controllers/gateways, and keyboard/display processor.
Technical highlights feature dual PIC16/17 CPUs, DMA emulation, IDE harddisk driver, and over sampled A-to-D conversion with digital post filtering.
For use in embedded control systems we provide HSB bus modules with PIC16/17 processors serving as main CPU, and IO processors. Our low cost multi processor system uses PIC17C43 processor nodes equipped with 128 kB of RAM each, communicating through a 5 MBits/s serial link.
The customer base includes chemical and energy plants, automobile and machinery manufactures, banks, government agencies, universities. |
