Viewing Hardware and Software Vital Product Data

How do I view vital product data (VPD)?

Answer

1. Access the OPCON (*) prompt. (See Accessing the OPCON Command Line Interface.)

2. At the OPCON prompt, type talk 6 and press Enter.

3. Type list vpd and press Enter to view the IBM 2212 hardware and software VPD.
