Removing Paper Jammed in the Optional Tray (Tray 2 (Optional)/Tray 2 Rear Cover)

Follow the procedure below to remove paper jammed in tray 2 (optional).

1Hold both sides of tray 2, lift it slightly, and pull it toward you.

Note

  • Pull tray 2 completely out. Take care not to drop it.

2Lift off the cover.

3Remove jammed paper.

4Re-attach the cover.

5Hold both sides of tray 2, and push it gently in until it stops.

6Press the [Test Paper Feed/Resume] key.

Printing starts.

Note

  • Blank paper may be delivered after printing resumes.

If you cannot locate paper jammed in tray 2, follow the procedure below to remove the paper jammed.

1While pushing the tabs on both sides of the tray 2 rear cover toward the inside, open the tray 2 rear cover.

2Remove jammed paper.

3Close the tray 2 rear cover.

Note

  • Press both sides of the cover until it clicks closed.

4Press the [Test Paper Feed/Resume] key.

Printing starts.

  • Blank paper may be delivered after printing resumes.
