Syrian Alleged Reactor

Before bombing images: CIA version at left, Google aerial at middle (rotated to match the CIA orientation. Red line
shows the CIA image area.) Scale of the two images do not quite match: the Google dimensions are somewhat more
stretched which could be due to the differing distances and angles of the satellite camera from earth, or by differing
image processes.

After bombing CIA image at right, rotated to match the before-bombing image. The CIA after-bombing image shows a more rectangular structure in plan rather than the square plan before bombing.
This is due to image distortion in the long direction (see correction below).

The Google image appears to be later with the surrounding terrain more excavated, and matches the terrain of the
after-bombing image.

The before- and after-bombing buildings do not match exactly. The CIA version has a single-pitch gabled roof with
what appear to be four or five hatches. The Google roof appears to be hipped on four sides, with maybe one or two
hatches.

Note what appears to be a suspended pipe or cable at the upper left of the structure in the Google and after-bombing
images, with indication of covered trenching running up the hill (more in larger image below).
