Obtaining Intel Power Monitor version 3.0
CAUTION: The new features that make Intel Power Monitor
3.0 a powerful analysis tool for ISVs and IHVs, are very intrusive in a system. For
this reason, we recommend its use only in development systems.
IMPORTANT: Do not load this software until you have
carefully read and agreed to the license terms and conditions. If
you do not agree to the terms, do not install or use this software.
Installation Instructions
- Double-click POWERMON.EXE in Windows Explorer after downloading to extract the archive.
- Click Unzip to extract the Intel Power Monitor installation files.
- Follow the directions presented during installation which will begin when file extraction is completed.
- Reboot your system to complete installation of Intel Power Monitor.
How do I install this on my notebook? It has no web
connection.
Four subdirectories are created named DISK1, DISK2, DISK3, and DISK4 in your
Windows TEMP directory. You may copy the contents of each of these
directories to a separate 1.44MB floppy disc for installation of the Intel Power Monitor
on a system without network access. Run SETUP.EXE located in the DISK1 subdirectory to install Intel Power Monitor.
