A.D. Developments was founded in 1983. Specialists in microcontroller based projects having completed over 25 designs with the PIC range since be coming registered Microchip consultants in 1992. We have used various PICs throughout the range, from the PIC16C54 through to the PIC17C44. Production volumes range from 1 off units to several hundred thousand.
Hardware: Circuit design (analogue and digital); PCB layouts; Mechanical design (using AutoCAD); Prototypes; Small batch production in house.
Software: Embedded software using Assembler and C; Windows based applications using C.
Past Projects include: Data Capture systems. Multiplexed lighting system used in the motor racing industry. Encoder System - a low end PIC and EEPROM used in a high volume product (over 1 million units to date). Hand held RS232 terminal with a membrane keyboard, LCD and custom software. Motor speed control system for environmental air sampling. |

AND Software Ltd is a private limited company owned by its two directors Valerie Thorn and John Thorn. It was founded in 1980. AND is built of a small team of highly experienced engineers covering both software and electronic design.
We undertake a wide range of projects covering most aspects of microcontroller technologies, from transducer interface hardware design through to advanced software tool development. We have direct experience of implementing microcontroller based solutions in many application areas, mobile communications, telephony, security, access control, data communications, automation, machine controls, instrumentation, simulation and language processing. In addition to our design services we market a range of our own leading-edge software and electronic development tool products.
