APL has been involved in the design of embedded systems since 1982 and an enthusiastic PIC user since 1990.
In this time APL has carried out the design and development of a wide range of applications, from battery powered data logging to pick & place robotics systems. The range of clients includes large multinational companies to small companies who lack the relevant in-house expertise in microcontroller system design.
The range of services includes the design of both hardware, software, and PCB layout. Production of both surface mount and conventional designs can be arranged if necessary.
Recent projects using the PIC16/17 families include: single phase and three phase power controllers, industrial controllers with LED and LCD displays, DC motor control for mobile vehicle applications, HVAC smart sensors and controllers, environment monitoring/control system, automotive safety monitoring, scientific instrumentation. |
